A single-herb liquid extract of dried herb of Artemisia capillaris, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Yin chen hao is picked young, and there is a classical saying about it: gathered in the third month it is yin chen, gathered in the fourth it is only firewood. What is collected is the soft grey-green spring shoot, a few centimetres high and still covered in fine silky white down, before the plant runs up into the tall wiry wormwood it becomes by midsummer. It grows on riverbanks and dry sandy ground across China.

Glycerite: Artemisia capillaris dried herb, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

Not for use in pregnancy. People allergic to ragweed, mugwort or other Asteraceae may react to it.
